FROM AIRPORT TO NEW DELHI

Hello everyone,

Today in this blogg, i am gonna tell my readers about the travelling from Airport to New Delhi.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is among the biggest and busiest airport in the world. Thousands of passengers arrive and depart from this airport.

Terminal 2 is for the Arrival of international flights and Terminal 3 is for the Departure.

After arriving at Terminal 2 ,most of passengers,specially Tourists uses different means of transportation to reach their destinations. Some hires a cab, some by own vehicle,some by bus,some by the hotel cab and some by the Metro.

According to my experience, Metro is the best option to reach New Delhi. 

If you have limited luggage ,you can easily travel by metro within very short time and with a soothing environment. 

As your flight lands at the airport,it takes less than an hour for coming out at the airport. Usually passengers comes out from gate no. 4 and 5. There is a prepaid taxi booth in front of gate no.5 in just 15 to 20 mtrs distance. Reasonable rates and good assistance by the staff at the booth.

Now, just in front of gate no.4 you can see the entrance of Metro station. Same 15 to 20 mtrs distance and you can enter the metro station lobby with  your luggage. There are some people ,assisting helpers who can take your luggage to the train just for 80 Rs. After taking the ticket you have to cross the checking point and then after using 2 accelerators you will come down to the platform. In every 15 to 17 frequency time the train comes. Neat and clean train,comfortable seats,good,displaying monitors of schedule and soothing temperature. It starts from airport to the next station airport city then Dhaula kuan then shivaji stadium and atlast New Delhi in just 19 minutes.

Now,from New Delhi metro station you go anywhere by taking further metro ride,by,bus,by car/taxi,by auto rickshaw and by Erickshaw. Old Delhi, Connaught place,pahar ganj hotel lane,jama masjid,darya ganj are the places nearby to it and within 2 kms.
